FootWorks – "Where Runners Feel at Home" – has a new home.
We're still at 5724 Sunset Drive in South Miami, and we still have our orange and green neon "FootWorks" sign.  But after 30 years (with at least 30 to go!) we remodeled and now have a bigger, more open store to better serve you.  The same friendly people are here and they'll help you to choose the right shoe for your running.  And, with everything from our two stores under one roof, it's easy to find the top or running short you're looking for.

FootWorks took root as an Earth Shoe store in 1973.  In 1976, store-owners and runners Hans and Laurie Huseby realized many of their healthy patrons were also runners and that there was an existing void in running retail.  Filling the void became their mission and making runners feel at home was their objective.

FootWorks has evolved as the unofficial South Florida runners’ headquarters, and for more than 20 years Hans and Laurie have spearheaded the growth of the local running scene.  Their efforts have ranged from organizing Sunday morning fun runs and helping found the Miami Runners Club to directing and producing road races such as the Florida Corporate Run Series.
